Five Fundamentals of Islam

Islam has five fundamentals which are:

·         To have a firm conviction in the Allah as stated in first and second declarations of Islam (Kalimah Tayyibah or Kalimah Shahadah)

·         Offering the prayers

·         Paying Zakat (Alms)

·         Fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan (Sawm)

·         Performing the Hajj (Pilgrimage to the Holy city of Makkah)
