KPK and FATA Students Award Scholarships by USAID



Islamabad, United States Agency for International Development is going to award scholarships to 5 students belonging to the region of FATA and KPK. The USAID is awarding the scholarships to the candidates whose area has been disturbed by the natural disasters.
The USAID is also going to announce about 1,000 more scholarships to the brilliant and intelligent students of the area who want to get education but their financial sources are limited. These scholarships will be provided to the students for next three years. The area which is badly affected by the natural disaster or the terrorism activities and majority of men have been died in such incidents and about 15,000 families are living helpless who are widowed women and orphan children. USAID has designed the Conflict Victims Support Program through which about $25 million will be provided to the students, workers or the bereaved families and this amount will help them to support them financially and will start their life with good financial support. This scholarship scheme will provide them educational facilities and other allied benefits to the students.
