Take clean water in a utensil
and sit on a clean and elevated land. If you can, then face towards Qiblah, if
it is not possible then there is no harm to sit in any direction. Fold up the
sleeves of your shirt over to the elbows. Then recite Bismillah and wash your
hands up to wrists three times. Then take some water in to your mouth and rinse
it. If it is possible then brush your teeth with miswak or tooth stick. If
tooth stick is not available then rub with your finger and rinse your mouth
three times. Then sniff some water into your nostrils three times and clean
them with the little finger of the left hand. Wash your face three times. Do
not splash water on your face. Instead, run water gently on the forehead and
wash the face from your forelocks down to the lower part of the chin extending
from one ear to the other. Wash the right forearm including the elbow three
times and wash the left forearm in the same manner. Wet the palms of your hands
with water and pass them over the head, ears, and the neck. Finally wash the
right foot three times passing little finger of your left hand into the gaps
between the toes and then wash the left foot in the same manner.
