Bahawalpur, The
Controller of Examination of Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur started
admission process in the postgraduate medical diploma courses in different
disciplines for the session 2013-14 under the instructions of University of
Health Sciences.
The medical college has
offered postgraduate diploma courses in different programs like Anesthesia,
Ophthalmology, Gynae & Obst, Clinical Psychology, Child Health, Otorhinolaryngology,
Pulmonology and five years degree programs in Cardiology and Master of Surgery
in Urology. The candidates should get admission forms from the office of the
principal of college on payment of Rs.100 and submit the same after completing
them to the postgraduate section of the college up to April 30, 2013 along with
their connected documents and latest bio data. The entry test of the candidates
will be conducted on May 18, 2013.
The government servants
should submit their applications for admissions through their departments or
they should bring NOC of their department for getting postgraduate training.
The candidates must
have passed MBBS or equivalent exams registered with PMDC. They should possess
with six months experience of demonstrator in Pathology department and house
job for six months in main clinical disciplines like Surgery, Medical,
Gynae/Obst, one year experience as demonstrator in Pathology department, two
years working experience in four pathology disciplines from any recognized
institute and these experiences should be within the period of previous 5 years
and not beyond that period.
The candidates, who
want to get admission in the degree programs of 5 years in MS Urology, the
candidates must have passed MBBS with one year house job and experience of one
year in the discipline of General Surgery, Allied Surgical or urology
discipline registered with PMDC and the candidates will have to qualify the
entry test and interview. The candidates, who have already got the
MRCS/FCPS/Diplomat or any equivalent qualification in General Surgery will have
to sit in the part 3 of the course and he will be exempted from Part 1 & 2
of the course.
