AIOU Establishes 100,000 ‘Open Schools’ in Remote Areas



Islamabad, Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University, Prof Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi has announced that they are going to establish about 100,000 open schools in the far off and less privileged areas of the country.
Vice Chancellor of AIOU presided over the first business graduates meeting in the NUML University and said during his speech that AIOU is going to start the open schools especially for the girls in the remote areas as there are no education facilities and the local people cannot afford to provide education to their education in far off cities as they cannot afford it. These schools will help to provide education facilities to the girls and make them useful citizen of the country and they can also contribute in the nation development. He also requested to all government and private organizations to contribute in this noble cause for the spread of education at primary and secondary levels in the less privileged areas of the country.
