IST Offers Graduate Programs 2013

The Institute of Space Technology is going to offer admissions in different disciplines for the year 2013. The institute grants admissions in different local programs in the evening session at its Islamabad campus in Aero Space Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Space Science and Mechanical Engineering.

The institute also offers linked programs in the MS and PhD disciplines like Aero space Engineering in Northwestern Polytechnical University China. The admissions are also offered in the linked programs for MS & PhD in Aero Space Engineering, Satellite Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Welding Engineering in Beihang University, China. The institute provides admissions in the linked programs for MS in Satellite Communications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mobile Communication Systems, Mobile & Satellite Communication, Space Technology & Planetary Exploration in the University of Surrey, UK.

The interested candidates should apply through online till May 19, 2013. The candidates will have to qualify in the GAT General test by NTS after May 01, 2011, which will be applicable to MS programs. The candidates must have qualified for GAT subject test by NTS or ETS USA after May 01, 2011, which will be applicable for PhD programs. The candidates should visit the website of the institute to get further information regarding admission and the eligibility criteria. The candidates, who have completed their graduation during spring semester, are also eligible to apply for admission.

The Institute will offer limited number of teaching/research assistantships for full tuition fee waiver along with monthly stipends. Merits scholarships are also awarded to the candidates on their performance in the regular semesters.
