UVAS Conducts Training Workshop

Lahore, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore is going to conduct the training workshop for six days with the collaboration of Jackson State University USA. During this workshop, the trainings will be given in the fields of experimental designs, analysis methodologies, interpretation of results, grant writing, data collection, manuscript development and statistical software training.

The joint project of Pakistan and US, “Establishing a Biostatistical Consulting Center in Pakistan” has managed to conduct this workshop. During this workshop, the course on advanced Biostatistics will be provided to the participants in morning and evening sessions and the participants will be provided various statistical software packages like SAS 9.2, SYSTAT13 etc for research data and progress on the text.

According to the schedule of the training, the participants will have to attend the training workshop from May 13 to 18, 2013 from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm at the computer lab of Biostatistical Consulting Center and Conference Hall of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore. The students, faculty staff or the postgraduates, who are engaged in the research are encouraged to apply for this training workshop and they should send their applications to Dr. Habib ur Rehman and Mr Muhammad Bilal up to April 30, 2013 on their email addresses.  The University offers this training workshop course to the student without any registration fee.
