Necessary conditions for offering Prayer

There are seven pre-requisites of Prayers. If you do not perform them, your prayer will not become valid. These essential conditions of prayer are called obligatory (Fard). These are as follow:

·         Cleanliness of the body.

·         Cleanliness of the clothes.

·         Cleanliness of the place.

·         Covering the parts of the body which are ordained to be covered (the Satr).

·         Time being proper for the prayer.

·         Facing towards Qiblah.

·         Saying the intention or Niyyah.
