Superiority of the Holy Quran

The Holy Quran is superior to other divine books due to some reasons which are given below:

·         Each and every word of the Holy Quran is preserved in its original form. Not even a dot has been subtracted, added or altered from it. Nor would there be any change in it until the Final Day, while the previous scriptures have been tempered with by the people who believe in those books.

·         The language of the Holy Quran is a miracle. The style of the Holy Quran is so uniquely sublime that it is beyond human faculty to compose anything comparable to its smallest verse.

·         The Holy Quran has brought the Final Divine-Code. Hence a large number of its injunctions have abrogated the code of the earlier Scriptures.

·         The previous scriptures came all at once. But the Holy Quran was revealed in small parts, in about 23 years, as and when it was needed. Its gradual revelation, according to the requirements of the time, found its way right into the hearts of the people. And hundreds and thousands of them accepted its code and commands and embraced Islam.

·         The Holy Quran is preserved in the hearts of the hundreds of thousands of Muslims who continue to memorize it and recite it. This preservation in the hearts of people has continued right from the times of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). And the memorization of the Holy Quran will also continue till the Day of Judgment. By virtue of its preservation in the hearts of the people, the enemies of Islam have never had the opportunity to alter the Quran, nor would they ever be able to do so until the Final Day, God willing (Insha Allah).

·         Laws of the Holy Quran are so moderate that they are suitable for all times and all the people. No nation on the earth will find it difficult to act upon its dictates because Qur’anic teachings meet the needs of all nations at all times. Therefore, after revelation of the Quran there is no need for any other Code or Divine Scriptures. And the prophet hood of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him) has been proclaimed for all the world.
