The time for Isha begins with the
disappearance of ‘Shafaq-e-Abyad’ (the white shafaq) and lasts until the time
of the ‘true dawn’.
The best time for the Isha prayer is up
to one third of the night. After this, it is permissible until mid night.
Saying the Isha prayer after that, is undesirable.
